Grocery Card Donations for Thanksgiving Holiday Week
Thanksgiving is almost here! We want to make sure every family in the Jefferson community has food on the table during the holiday break, and we know many families are struggling more than usual this year. Our School Cares is collecting gift cards for grocery stores, which we will distribute to families in the Jefferson Community prior to Thanksgiving.
If you would like to request a grocery card, please complete this online form (Spanish), or email your request to OurSchoolCares1907@gmail.com no later than Friday, Nov 6th. Cards will be distributed to families from November 17 – 19.
If you would like to donate a grocery card, please see the options below. Grocery gift cards can be either given via email or delivered to the school. We will need both tangible gift cards and e-gift cards for families with different needs! Please provide gift cards by Friday, November 13th. We prefer gift cards in $25 increments and we ask that you consider giving several cards if you'd like to donate more money!
Gift Card Options: Safeway, Target, and Whole Foods offer email options for gift cards. Sprouts can be ordered online but issue only plastic gift cards by mail. Trader Joe's only issues gift cards in their stores.

You can drop gift cards in the school office with Mary or Karissa any day of the week except Wednesdays, between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm.
