Beverly Thiele
Ms. Thiele grew up in Berkeley, starting out at Whittier Elementary School, which is now Berkeley Arts Magnet, and ending up graduating from Cal. Although she has lived in other places, her heart has always been in Berkeley.
Ms. Thiele has taught for over 20 years at Jefferson. She taught kindergarten and first grade for the first 20 years, but is now enjoying teaching fourth graders. One of her priorities in the classroom is music exposure. She loved hearing the classics as a youngster and enjoys sharing that love of music with her students.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Thiele is an avid reader and animal lover. She has lots of cats at home and reports that she feeds all the cats that come to her.
