Valene Kuan
Valene Kuan has been teaching at in the Chinese Bi-Cultural program at Jefferson Elementary since 2004. She went through the Berkeley public schools herself as a child, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to be in the district as a teacher. She received her teaching credential from Mills College in Oakland, and is currently getting her Masters in Education there this year.
Valene recently got married in July 2007. In her spare time she likes to read, dance, and spend time with friends and family.
