Awakening Joy for Kids — Tuesday, 2/16, 7pm
Presentor: James Baraz and Michelle Lilyanna, co-authors of Awakening Joy for Kids
Topic: The authors will introduce their concept and share activities for teachers and parents to share with their kids. There will be time for Q&A. Here are 10 Tips to Awaken Joy in Kids.
Hands-on Workshop: Create a Token Board for Your Student — Thursday, 2/25, 7pm
A follow-up to Simple Strategies to Increase Online Engagement, during this hands-on workshop BUSD Behavorialsts Andrea Jason M.A., School Psychologist, BCBA and Monica Knapp M.Ed., BCBA will help you select the right type of token board strategy for your student and create it. Executive Functioning with Classroom Matters — Thursday, 3/4, 7pm
Presentor: Co-founders of Classroom Matters, a local nonprofit that provides tutoring and other academic support.
Topic: This is a variation on the executive functioning workshop that they recently did at King Middle School, which included both understanding child development related to executive functioning (what skills are students developing at this age) and strategies to support your students at home, particularly with independent / asynchronous work.

Our first family workshop - Simple Strategies to Increase Online Engagement - was fantastic! As Mary said, "Andrea has taught me so much over the years. It was great to get a refresher - I took lots of notes and am going to use some of these strategies next week." Did you miss it? Good news!
