Beth Trevor

Ms. Trevor is new to the Berkeley schools, but comes to Jefferson with six years of teaching experience. She taught first grade for two years in San Francisco and for four years in Oakland.

Ms. Trevor grew up in Marin County and majored in Drama at San Francisco State, where she also received her Masters and teaching credential. She likes to bring theater into the classroom and works to make school interesting and entertaining for the students. For example, her classroom celebrated national “Talk Like a Pirate Day” by going on a treasure hunt and writing with feathered pencils in class.

In her free time, Ms. Trevor enjoys spending time with her two sons, 4-year old Jasper and 1-year old Zane, taking photographs, hiking and sailing. She says, “The dedication of the Jefferson teachers and parents is amazing and makes it great to come to school each day.”
