Jefferson Elementary Open House THURSDAY, May 18 6-7:30 PM

Dear Jefferson Community,

This is a brief reminder that open house is tomorrow, May 18 form 6-7:30.  The evening begins in the cafetorium, with a brief statement from Principal Mary Cazden, and then parents visit classrooms to see what their children have been doing recently.  You can see the hard work of the teachers reflected in the projects and excitement of your children.

Hope to see you there.

Mayfair is Here!!

It’s Mayfair this Sunday, May 21 11:00am-3:00pm

It’s Mayfair this Sunday, May 21st, from 11:00-3:00!   Please come out for a day of fun, food, cakewalking, and community. Our School Rocks!  If you like, dress as your favorite rock/hip-hop/rap/pop/latin music celebrity.
Mr. Mopp’s Books will be selling books at the Fair, and 15% of sales will go to the PTA!  A great way to give money to Jefferson and get something in return!
We still need a few donations and equipment loans!
Prizes for the carnival games:
  • We are still taking donation of gently used toys to be used for prizes (drop-off box outside Jefferson office)
  • WE STIL NEED POP UP CANOPIES/TENTS
  • Please bake a cake for cakewalk or goodies for bake sale.
  • Please sign up to help out the activity your child’s room is running.
  • Please consider signing up with set up and clean up
  • Mr. Mopps will donate 15% of books sold at its book sale table

See you Sunday!

PLEASE CHECK THE LOST AND FOUND!

*Everything we have will be donated May 26!!*

Hello Jefferson parents, staff and students. The Lost and Found is full again! We have coats, sweatshirts, shirts, pants, hats, and so much more. The Lost and Found is at the very end of the hall on the first floor. Don’t forget to label your child’s things. If you have any questions, please contact Lost and FoundCoordinators Angie (angie@garling.us) Navy Saray (navysaray@gmail.com) and Jen (msjenbender@gmail.com). Thank you.

Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools (SR2S) program

Please help bring more effective walking & biking safety programming to your school by taking a brief parent survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/M88ZSZ5 (English) and https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/M8YDLSZ (Spanish)

Your participation in this confidential survey helps the program better understand challenges and barriers to walking or biking to school.

A’s Game

We are working on seeing if we can reschedule as a group. Stay Tuned for details…
